About
ANC provides women and their families with appropriate information and advice for a healthy pregnancy, safe childbirth, and postnatal recovery, including care of the newborn, promotion of early, exclusive breastfeeding, and assistance with deciding on future pregnancies in order to improve pregnancy outcomes
We have a range of ANC packages to suit your needs. All our ANC packages include the following;
- First visit review by the resident doctor
- Develop a birth plan for the pregnancy
- Identify support required for the pregnancy journey
- Screening for conditions and diseases such as anaemia, STIs (particularly syphilis), HIV infection, mental health problems, and/or symptoms of stress or domestic violence
- Preventive measures, including tetanus toxoid immunization, de-worming, iron and folic acid, intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy (IPTp), insecticide-treated bednets (ITN)
